Aïku

Designed by Jean Marie Massaud, the Aïku collection draws inspiration from haiku (俳句), the concise Japanese poems that convey profound meaning in just a few words. Similarly, Aïku stands out for its harmonious synthesis of aesthetics and functionality.

The chair’s shell features a saffiano-effect texture in different colours and pairs with a variety of bases: round-shaped legs, sled, sled with armrests and table, tapered base and solid oak wood legs. The versions with round-shaped legs, sled and tapered base are stackable, ensuring practicality for dynamic environments. In the Soft version, the structure is enhanced with padding for optimal comfort, which can be upholstered in fabrics from the MDF Italia collection.
