Coste

Inspired by the art of origami, Coste is an ode to the technique of folding metal. The conical trunk at the centre is composed of the juxtaposition inherent to a folded module, whose ‘ribbing’ generates a series of isosceles triangles. The different oxidation tones attributed to its faces create the light-dark contrast of chiaroscuro, which accentuates the varied shapes and verticality of the base: the result is the sensation that the circular top is resting on the pointed tips of a crown.
